The opening Night Gala for the 28th annual Women's Film Festival benefits the Women's Freedom Center.

At 7PM on Friday, March 22nd, the Women’s Film Festival kicks-off with a fired-up treat for both film-lovers and foodies alike! This year’s Opening Night Gala features a champagne reception showcasing delicious hors-d'oeuvres and desserts created by fabulous local female chefs, cookbook authors, caterers and bakers. Followed by a screening of The Heat: A Kitchen (R)evolution- a fascinating film highlighting the talents of 7 female chefs navigating a high-pressure male-dominated industry.
