This year’s multi-generational celebration of the turning of the year is a joyful event involving the passing on of traditions from one generation to the next. The show opens with families gathered in a cozy English pub to revel in the deep winter while looking forward to the coming of the light in the new year. Singing, dancing, and mumming by the cast – and even some lucky audience members - will fill the theater with smiles. Please sing along with us and don’t forget to touch the Yule log with your sprig of holly for a whole year’s worth of good luck!
This year, as the heart of the winter is acknowledged, the magical Abbotts Bromley Horn Dance will inspire the sharing of traditions, and we will celebrate the skill and eagerness of the younger members of our community.
Welcome Yule is a family show full of music, dance, songs and stories. To learn more, explore our website (welcomeyule.org/) and social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube).
