Instagram is a jazzy social tool that allows you to market your business and brand to hundreds of customers everyday! Build strong trustworthy relationships with your Instagram followers using the Instagram feed and Instagram stories. Instagram will reach 112.5 million U.S. users in 2020 and is growing rapidly!

In this workshop the instructor will:

• Break down the Do’s and Don’ts of creating and running your professional Instagram account
• Demystify hashtags
• Share tips for creating relatable text for your Instagram posts
• Discuss how to create an effective Instagram Story
• Explore current trends using Instagram Reels, Instagram Live and IGTV

Participants will need to have smartphones with the latest version of the Instagram app installed to fully participate in this interactive, hands-on workshop.

**Registration is required prior to the workshop in order to receive the Zoom link to join us. This workshop is an online event. Workshops are held in Eastern Standard Time. There is a minimum of 3 people to run this class

About the Instructor:

Nanette Perrotte is a jazz singer, jazz presenter, video coach, founder of LUX Lifestyle.  

Nanette is one half of the Video Marketing Mavens, with Christine Halvorson, who present virtual and live workshops of current trends and skills in video marketing and broadcasting. Their YouTube channel is Video Marketing Mavens. Nanette also presents webinars and workshops on Instagram, Presentation techniques to shine on video and webinars, Speaking skills for video and webinars and beginner Podcasting. Nanette has been the producer of 10 audiobooks and is the narrator of three audiobooks.

Raised in Amsterdam Holland and Orlando Florida, she trained at Boston’s Berklee College of Music (BA in Jazz Composition and Arranging) with a principal instrument of Voice. This course of study was the fulfillment of a childhood spent singing and performing that continues on as a professional vocalist. Perrotte’s MA in Education (Lesley University, Cambridge Massachusetts) focused her work on Arts as a tool to learn about and experience cultural diversity.  

In 2013, Perrotte founded LUX Lifestyle, a company offering mid life women and men online classes on food and fitness. In 2019, Nanette developed LUX tents: creating body care products, healthy foods and elixirs under a tent at farmer’s markets and Pop up outdoor events. In 2020, LUX launched an online store www.luxlifestyle.co as well as stores on Instagram and Facebook.
